BEM Road Shows in Malaysia a Success

Road shows were jointly organized by 3G Wireless & Software and the National Productivity Council (NPC), over a period of 5 months, in Petaling Jaya, Penang, Johor, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu and Kuantan.

YM. Tengku Azmi bin Tengku Majid of NPC presented the usage of ICT in Malaysia compared to the rest of the world. The presentations were very interesting and informative, and generated a lot of interest among the participants. We learned that Malaysia's usage of ICT compared very favorably with other ASEAN countries. However, there is room for growth, especially in the use of ICT to increase productivity.

Together with the presentation by 3G Wireless and Software on BEM, a software which emphasizes the importance of sales Productivity, the seeds of awareness of Productivity especially in the SMEs were sown. It is especially important for SMEs to think of Productivity in order to be competitive in this globalized world.

SMEs also need to embrace ICT for Malaysia to be a key player in the global market. This message was made very clear to the participants during the road shows.
